STEP 1 - Begin seated with the legs outstretched straight in front. Find balance on your sitting bones. Exhale and recline your torso while simultaneously lifting the shins parallel to the floor.

STEP 2 - Stretch your arms out, shoulder height, and broaden through the collarbones. For the full pose, keep the heart lifting and straighten out through the legs.

A modification is to keep your knees bent and grab on to the back of knees for support.
