Yoga for Cyclists

In this specialty class for cyclists, you will take the "Yin/Yang approach," strengthening the upper body and releasing the lower body for optimal performance on the road. You will begin by building heat in the arms and core and then will transition to longer holds in poses that target the quadriceps, hip flexors, and hamstrings. During the longer holds, Mona instructs us to practice internal discipline as well as the physical. She asks, Can you focus on the exhales and see what you can let go of? Mona winds down class with Resting Pigeon Pose and Happy Baby Pose before closing with Savasana.
