Meditation: Neutralize Negative Patterns

Neutralize your negative tendencies by repeating the "seed sound," (Yum) of the heart chakra. The bias of the mind is to resort towards negative thinking. This pattern becomes ingrained so changing our thoughts requires practice through steady effort. Like a muscle that becomes stronger through exercise, our minds need similar conditioning in order to change. To diminish our negative habits, we need to replace and practice with their positive counterpart. This meditation will help you identify your unproductive patterns and begin to devote your attention to changing the dialogue and repetive nature of your dysfunctional reactions.
