What is contentment and how can we reside in this state? Contentment is radical acceptance that everything is meant to be exactly as it is. As a result, we find a deep appreciation and peace for what has been and where we are now. To overcome a deep sense of scarcity, dissatisfaction or emptiness, we must first acknowledge that contentment is an inside job. As much as it may sound cliché, we must trust that we have enough, that we are enough, that we are perfect just the way we are, and that everything is meant to be. The more grounded and present that we become within ourselves the more we can experience contentment and peace.
