Meditation: Cultivate a Beginners Mind

The moment that you are furthest from your spiritual self is the moment when you think that you have it all figured out. The moment when you believe that you have all of the answers is when it is most important to redouble your efforts and become hyper-aware. Even if you feel like you have healed an old wound, resolved a dispute or changed a behavior, the old conditioning still exists and you can easily fall back into a non-serving pattern. When we approach our practice with a beginners mind keeps reminding you to look clearly and honestly moment to moment. This meditation reminds us that our work is never really finished. Breathe in the qualities of strength, love and health and breathe out the qualities of strength, love, and health.
