I loved this class, and I cannot wait to see more from Amanda! I really enjoyed the instruction to move the body in whatever way feels good. I was able to go really deep into my poses, and I even did one-legged crow for the first time! Thank you, Yoga Today for another amazing class from another amazing instructor!

Flow was very free- no drishti, no specific pose to be in. Lack of guidance made it difficult to get deep into any pose. More of a pilates-dance-aerobics. Sorry, not beneficial yoga for me, I will try her next one.

It's great to have different instructors who focus on different aspects of practice. This class is all about owning and honoring your reality. There is some gentle core work, a little arm strengthening and shoulder opening, and a little hip opening as well. I got sweaty but I definitely didn't blow it out. Amanda feels like a midwife to me. She says "juicy" ;)

Wonderful class. The flow is novice-accessible—plenty of opportunities to modify—although Amanda does assume that you have some basic knowledge of a variety of poses. Emphasis in this class is much less on teaching the poses and more on feeling the flow. Nice change of pace for perfectionist yogis like me!

I usually practice anusara and ashtanga so every few times a week I feel the need to move the body in more circular or freer patterns -and i resort to kundalini and flow yoga dvds. I really enjoyed the new exploration of the body in this practice and came closer to crow pose than ever! I will definitely look forward to more of her classes in the future. The only thing I found a bit distracting was the constant "yesssss" into the microphone. I am sure in a class setting it wouldn't be so odd, but the microphone seemed to really pick up the "s" sound in a way that reminded me of, well, Gollum. And Gollum and yoga don't mix for me. I hope this doesn't sound overly nitpicky and it was a wonderful practice, I just could have done with less "s."

Amanda is a wonderful addition to Yoga Today! Vinyasa is not my favorite form of yoga, but Amanda added so many different moves between and within each flow that it didn't feel like traditional Vinyasa. I loved her emphasis on listening to the body and moving the way it's asking to be moved. My body feels great after this class!

This class was interesting and a bit unsettling. I loved the idea of feeling things through my whole body, and yet it felt a bit funny during the class. Later I realized my neck and shoulders had really eased. Then I started playing with this idea whenever I thought of it through the day, and I began to see how I hold things in one part of my body or another, and when I let my whole body help out, wow, things eased. Thank you!!

Joining the others in our community who welcome you with open arms. I enjoyed what you bring to the practice and to Yoga Today - I suspect I am not the only one who appreciated the advice to circulate energy throughout the body, love the body and do what feels good. The "flowy" routine was a wonderful way to help those of us who clench and hold, encouraging us to stay loose and let go. Also appreciate the tricky ab exercises.
