The class is slower paced and has some long holds. I thought the poses were basic, but Neesha's allignment cues for inner and outer spiral to root the femurs etc, became a little chattery by the end. I liked the class for it's slow moving basic poses and stretching of the psoas.

Your my new fav! My doctor told me to take a break from kundalini because of my anxiety.. Because of that I found you! I like the nervous system breakdowns and having us activate leg muscles in poses. Wish you read these because I'm thankful.

After doing this class, I developed a clicking noise in my hip whenever I walk. This class has hip stretches that are very intense - much more intense than the average yoga class. This class may only be appropriate for people who are extremely flexible or who are relatively young (under 30). I would not recommend it for anyone over 35, or anyone with a personal or family history of hip issues.

Lots of stretches from a lunge position and from 'warrior feet'. I found this to be a relaxing and centering practice. It was only during the 'runners stretch' position near the end that the miscues had me confused.

I loved the instructions on how to open the pelvis and let the energy root down. I never thought that opening this area could provide such a profound effect on releasing stress in the body and how it’s held in this area. I loved the long poses that really allowed me to get into it and made me aware of where and how this energy is held.

I'm 17 days past my hip surgery, and I can tell I am gaining strength. I can put more weight into my "bad" leg during warrior II! YAY! I couldn't do that before surgery so this is great news.

The Bad: Lots of talking for a shorter class. (Ten full minutes of talk at the beginning before you start moving!) Several miscues/missed sides in poses. The Good: Despite the aforementioned issues, I still found this class to be enjoyable, relaxing, and restorative.
