I have very tight hips and hamstrings—no doubt I spend too much time sitting at the computer—and this class was perfect for them! I had a bit of trouble keeping up with the opening sequence, but it did warm me up and the pace for the rest of the class was spot on. I really appreciated the attention to modified poses.

This really got deep into the hips and I feel much more flexible after having spent an hour with Sarah in this practice. I am very, very tight in my hamstrings and hips so found it difficult to stay through some of the longer sequences, but I listened to my body and eased off when necessary.

The poses in this class were so effective at opening my hips and hamstrings. I really feel amazing. There were a few moments during the class when the instructions were missing, and I had to look at the screen to figure out what I should be doing, which is unusual for Sarah's classes. Overall awesome resource for hip opening!

My hip, IT band and psoas muscle have been painful for years. I thought it went away with my pregnancy but now seven months later it is back with a vengeance. This week I have been dedicating my practice to hip openers but focusing on my breath and clearing the emotional stagnation that seems to migrate to my groin. This class was a perfect balance of everything I needed. With certain poses it got bough but your reminder to use the breath helped me through it. Thank you:)

Couldn't have had a more perfect practice for what my body is in need of right now. Great class: easy on the lower back, just the right amount of challenge for me, and left my hips actually really feeling OPEN. Thanks Sarah! Can't beat the backdrop either. Next best thing to being there. Also love how the class finished all the way through post-shivasana, but would have liked shivasana have been a little longer. Will be back to this one many times for sure.

I really enjoyed this class and it went by quickly. I loved the jazz lunge as Sarah called it. I do agree the the queueing was a little off on one of the hamstring stretches, but it wasn't a big deal. Just had to "walk" my hands imstead of my feet. Great class overall!

Really enjoyed Sarah's other classes, but in this one her queues were a little confusing. For example, sometimes she says 'sweep the leg up' and means forward or back behind you but doesn't specify...if you are more beginner than intermediate, I would suggest watching the video first before practicing because it is a little difficult to understand what she means...still, a nice class!

I really enjoyed this session. I'm always looking for hip sequences, and I really like Sarah's hip openers. I was worried about trying a yogi level class. I've done Bikram about once a week for 5 years, but Bikram has such limited poses; I've done Iyengar level 1 & 1/2; and I have been following Yoga Today for a few weeks now. No doubt I had to do the modified poses in this video, and I really appreciated that those were demonstrated. But I was able to keep up more than I expected, and I feel open and loose now. Maybe what makes you a yogi is not so much your ability to do hand balances or fold like a pretzel, but your ability to listen to your body and find the balance between patience and pushing past fear. It doesn't hurt that Sarah is a fabulous instructor who delivers clear and precise directions. Thanks!

Nice combination of flow and in-depth hip-opening poses. I have fairly open hips, but this practice was still tough for me! A great stretch for my ridiculously tight hamstrings, too. My down dogs were much more open by the end of the practice. Will definitely come back to this one.

This is an awesome class any way you look at it. The restorative nature was appealing and am I ever glad I chose this one today. Not to say there is no effort involved because actually there were some challenging standing balance and arm balance opportunities.

Jivamukti (sp?) sun sals, some neat standing poses, lunges and down dogs/other hamstring openers throughout with an arm balance thrown in there (optional) and of course, a pigeon sequence at the end. When Sarah was like, "one last thing before savasana," I was like, waaaat?! I thought it was like ten minutes into the class. Went by so fast! Hips and hammies feel great, although I did do a log pose after to get a kind of stretch that the other poses didn't give me.
