There is so much gratitude in my playful heart right now for Neesha and this class! I wanted to do it for the topic, but almost didn't when I saw all the inversions! I'm so glad I did. Today I had the first feeling of what it might be like to be in hand stand, and I came further towards head stand than I ever have before. Thank you.

I think this class is more Novice than Yogis as it has so much explanation. This way I missed the flow sometimes. It was not the explanation about "The Wisdom of Yoga" that was too much but about basic postures.

Hoo, boy, this challenges mentally and physically. I did indeed find wisdom in the alignment principles Neesha shared. The strap with chaturanga and the block between the hands when attempting forearm stand were new for me and particularly helpful. I, too, so appreciated the honesty of the participating yoginis today and hope to see them again. Although I've not yet attained forearm stand or handstand, I make progress everytime I practice. Fear becomes less of an obstacle.Thank you so much for the opportunity to face this fear and for this valuable class!

I felt both anxiety and excitement the few hours before doing this class knowing that I would be practicing inversions. Neesha (as always) makes me feel safe by giving me the knowledge I need. Each time I practice inversions I feel a little fear slip away. Powerful stuff.

I feel better using props such a blocks and straps in my practice after taking this class. I got a better idea about when to keep my legs straight during poses such as standing forward bends. I loved the honesty of the two other yogis in the class. The practice felt more intimate and real. I look forward to the next part of this series.

Ditto the previous review. I'm not sure anyone from YogaToday looks at these reviews. There are some great old classes and about half the new classes we can no longer access - for the past month. It is really disappointing....

Okay, I think I finally "got" the Anusara approach to handstand. Loving it! And the forearm stand was awesome too. Using the foundation in the hands to line up the elbows and the armpits...changed the pose for me completely. Wonderful class, Neesha!!! As usual!
