I've been taking it easy for a couple days with some knee pain, but was craving some movement and yoga. This class was perfect. The pace was methodical, slow, and relaxing - allowing your body to open without tension. I'm not sure why this class has negative reviews - Sarah, as always, is full of insight, knowledge, and gentle instruction. A great evening practice Thank you, Sarah!

Thank you for this great class Sarah! I am returning to my Yoga after a long period of not moving at all or sudden runs which made my body very sore and and I am in pain of my lower back on the left side... This class helped me unblock and start "putting lotion" on the "scared tissues". I will keep moving gently and hearing my body! GRACIAS from Mendoza, Argentina!

After I sprained my ankle a couple of months ago, I still have a bit of pain left. I found that I couldn't do some of the poses that required sitting on my ankle (too much pain), but everything else seemed to relieve the overall stress of the day.

I loved this class. It provides a great stretch for the neck and shoulders. It also focuses a lot on the feet, which I think everyone needs to pay more attention to. Sarah takes you through a big range of poses, none which are *too* difficult. The majority of the class is seated, with a few downward dogs. The pace of the class is slow but I liked that because it made the whole practice somewhat meditative. I think this is a good class if you're feeling sluggish or if you've had a busy, stressful day at work!

Very nice restorative practice that focuses on breaking down scar tissue in the feet, ankles, wrists, and shoulders. Definitely not a workout, but it does build a tad bit of heat.

My body is all sorts of messed up--my knees, ankles, shoulders, wrists--and this class was amazingly helpful! Thank you Sarah! Evening would be a great time to do this one. It is pretty low key activity-wise, so it won't get me wound up before bed. So glad I finally tried this class. It's going to be a regular for me from now on!

I find myself coming to this class after a challenging hike, or just challenging day. The stretches get into all the muscles. The work for the neck/shoulders is great for anyone who has been sitting in front of a computer for too long!

Sarah's discussions regarding scar tissue and lessening its effects were very helpful and reminded me of physical therapy massages that didn't always feel very good but did help to loosen existing scar tissue. There are many poses given in this class that I will incorporate into my daily life (like writing the alphabet with my feet and interlacing my toes - fun!) to loosen scar tissue and provide strength and flexibility to formerly injured areas. The time flew by because of the concentration required to challenge these spots which have comfortably settled into decreased range of motion.

I chose this class to help some lower back pain from a previous injury that has been hurting during mid-pregnancy. It was very helpful. All of the foot stretches actually stretched the back and legs too, and it was appropriate for my stage of pregnancy (as discussed with my midwife). Very gentle, more for a relaxing day than a real workout day.
