I am very inflexible, so I always appreciate when teachers give tips for how to use blocks and straps to support me during my practice, which Adi does here. Adi leads you carefully through this class, encouraging little knots in your body to dissolve.

This is class is very, very, very slow. I doubt I'll do it again. I have some back pain from recent trail running and this course did not help. The back pain described in the course sounded tailored to folks who might be generally physically challenged with general alignment issues instead of someone who might have an injury he or she is trying to nurture.

I had hip surgery 27 days ago, and needed this to help my psoaz, TFL, sacrum and SI joint. THANK YOU! I woke up in a lot LOT of discomfort and thought "how am I going to work my retail job today?" Ugh. But after 63 minutes I had reduced my pain from 100% to a mere 30% (which is my normal daily chronic pain). SUPER!

haven't done yoga in a few weeks due to a vacation, and actually had some back pain as a result of vacation, so this was a great class to get me back on a normal schedule. Nice and slow paced, with stretches that can be done at various levels depending on how you feel.

Big discovery during this class: There is a link between my shoulders and my pelvis and when I focus on rooting my tailbone down while placing my shoulders on my back, I don't experience my typical L shoulder pain. I think I've been compensating for my weak core with my shoulders and this class, with its continual focus on the core and pelvic rooting down, helped me to understand this in a big way. Freedom from shoulder pain! Yay! Because of the continual core muscle use yet spot-on instructions with modifications, I can understand why it is introduced as an all-levels class.

My back along with the rest of my body were feeling the effects of returning to the gym after time off. It took about 3/4 of this class to start feeling the positive effects. If you stick with the sequence by the end you will be saying ahhh.

I agree this is a beginner class but it was great for me coming back to yoga after an ankle sprain. I needed something a bit slow so I could go easy on the ankle, and also get back into hamstring stretching. Very clear and relaxing. Thanks, Adi!
