Although I didn't feel that this was a challenging lesson, certainly not a guru level class (I don't think...but I'm new here!) There were some nice ideas but maybe a bit too much chat and too much explanation of postures that would be very well known to more experienced yogis. Still, it gave me a good, focused practice and I feel good for it!

Nice, basic ashtanga primary series class, with the focus on standing poses. Somewhat vigorous, but not overly so. Good for all levels; the guru rating seems high for this one. Plenty of modifications are given for all levels.

Not as full of movement or sweat-inducing as I was hoping, but I really liked it. It's basic sun salutations followed by some nice balances and a little hip opening. One of the yoginis was pretty advanced, so this is one you could work on for a while and make progress.

A good, moderately difficult class- a very nice survey of the Ashtanga primary series. I like the slight modifications- the pranayama at the end was a nice addition. Not super difficult, but a great, solid class! Thank you!

I have been dabbling in Ashtanga with the classes offered by Yoga Today for some time but recently decided to do more research and learn more about it. For me personally it is hard to mentally stay engaged knowing what is coming each time I step on the mat. Both Sarah and Adi are helping me overcome that by effectively taking me through the series and helping me stay focused.

This was a great class, combining both challenging and relaxing elements. A good flow gets your heart rate up, and the long, slow stretches leading to the inversions at the end invigorate and refresh the entire body. Definitely one of my favourites.
