This class is a must, especially for newer yogis. I wish I would have done this one sooner! It really surprised me how much I learned. Great for really understanding how the back body should be positioned in poses. It's a slower-paced class, more focus on opening and stretching, but I still built up a bit of a sweat just from maintaining muscle action in my legs and stomach.

I am so glad I discovered this class. It felt like a gift. It really opened my entire body. Perfect for a day when you want to practice but don't need a workout. The janu sirsasana variation at the end was new to me and felt amazing for my low back and obliques.

The focus on the back plane of the body was so informative for me. I was able to open up very well by pulling back my side body and tucking under my pelvis as repeatedly (and gratefully) instructed. This also allowed me to balance in the tree poses much better than ever before! It was also lovely to be encouraged to devote poses to those who have given us support in our lives just as we were concentrating on using our back body and core to support ourselves. P. S. At about minute 5 or 6, a hummingbird comes right up to the screen for a few seconds. Try to watch for it!

I really enjoyed this class. It was a nice intermediate pace. I was hoping for a little more opening in the front of the hips, but my hamstrings and side body feel excellent. I also really like the focus on pulling back the side waist — my abs got a workout!

This class will move you through basic poses. Neesha's instruction is excellent and detailed. A great class for beginners or those wanting to refine their poses. The most interesting poses are swaying tree, garland, and noose.

This class definitely focuses on the role of the back body as a starting point for expansion. It's not focused on hip and hamstrings particularly. But it's a great basic class to enhance general ability, relaxing and nicely explained. I don't normally do back classes since backbends give me problems, but this was quite doable and I think useful for improving my practice.
