There was a lot of challenging poses in this one. A sequence that is quite heavy on the standing poses, including coming into full hanumanasana, but countered with some really nice restorative forward bends. My only constructive critique is that it felt like the second side of hanumanasana was rushed, which was a bit disappointing. I'd still do this class again.Namaste

I had a baby a year ago and haven't done yoga since about 6 mos into my pregnancy. My back has been killing me lately due to carrying around my 20lb daughter...and I realized it was also due to my extremely tight hamstrings. This class has made me feel so much better! Not to mention, this was just hour of ME time! Thanks to my favorite yoga teachers :)

Loved this class! This was my first yoga today class, and while I expected this to open my hamstrings, I was pleasantly surprised to feel my chest, heart, and shoulders opened as well. I only wish some of the asanas were held a bit longer.

After the usual sun salutations for warm-up this sequence goes into some deep postures. What I really liked is how Adi stepped us into each posture encouraging us to stop at the step that was appropriate for us. The transitions from step to step were clear and slow so I could comfortably decide to go deeper or not.

Adi suggests we pause as we ask ourselves, "Do I move deeper? Or do I back away?" This class really opened my forward bends, although I couldn't release into Hanumanasana quite well (it is in the middle of the class). Second side was not held as long and the prep into was shorter, so I'd pause it next time. Some poses: a looooooong half moon, for me anyway), Warrior III, standing splits, bound extended side angle (long as well), an AWESOME bound twist. This class had a lot, and I agree with the reviewer who said he was glad it wasn't longer! It was a very challenging, but it sure did release my hamstrings. Thanks Adi!

This was my first exposure to Hanumanasana and I look forward to the process of discovering this pose. Adi's step-by-step instruction made me feel safe while I stretched in new ways.
