Does anyone have any thoughts about the order in which it is best to practice Shoulderstand and Headstand? In the Ashtanga tradition it is always Shoulderstand first, then Headstand. However, in the Iyengar tradition it is most emphatically Headstand first, and Shoulderstand is the counterpose which is practiced afterwards. What are the reasons behind these different approaches and which do people think is better? Flag as offensive
